At Afluity Funeral Documentation Services, we understand that funeral arrangements are often made during emotional and time-sensitive circumstances. Our refund policy is designed to remain fair while respecting the preparation and scheduling required for each service.
By booking our services, you agree to the following refund terms.
1. Deposits and Booking Fees
Some services may require a deposit or booking fee to secure the date and time of the funeral service.
Once preparation and scheduling have begun, deposits may be non-refundable, as they cover:
• Equipment preparation
• Scheduling and reservation of staff
• Travel planning and logistics
• Technical setup preparation
2. Cancellations
If a service is cancelled, refund eligibility will depend on the timing of the cancellation.
More than 48 hours before the service
A partial refund may be issued, excluding any non-refundable booking or preparation fees.
Less than 48 hours before the service
Due to scheduling commitments and preparation, refunds may not be available.
However, we will always review cancellations on a case-by-case basis where possible.
3. Event Rescheduling
If the funeral service is rescheduled:
• We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date
• Existing payments may be transferred to the new booking if availability allows
If we are unavailable for the rescheduled date, a partial refund may be considered.
4. Livestream and Technical Services
Livestream services rely on internet connectivity and external streaming platforms.
While we take every precaution to ensure a stable broadcast, interruptions caused by:
• Internet outages
• Weak network coverage at the venue
• Platform disruptions
• Environmental conditions
are outside of our control.
Because the ceremony is still recorded locally whenever possible, refunds are generally not issued solely due to livestream interruptions.
5. Service Delivery
If Afluity is unable to provide the booked service due to circumstances within our control, we will provide an appropriate refund or rescheduling option.
6. Media Delivery
Once photos, videos, or recordings have been delivered, they are considered fulfilled services and are not eligible for refunds.
7. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations may arise during funeral arrangements.
Refund requests under exceptional circumstances will be reviewed with care and compassion.
